As I previously said, I have started reading a book entitled “Worldliness” writen by C. J Mahaney and his gang of Sovereign Grace friends, and I wanted to share a few quotes that have shown me the importance of studying the topic of worldliness.

“I believe… that one reason why the church of God at this present moment has so little influence over the world is because the world has so much influence over the church.” - C. H. Spurgeon
Indeed, the church is crippled by the lusts of the world, as its eyes have been taken off the cross of Christ.

That is the challenge that we all face. For me, the road to recovery requires me to remain my old scene but instead of living in darkness, it is live as a light so they might be attracted to be the hope that God has so richly bestowed upon us.
